Salary : 90,000-100,000 (Plus) Commensurate with Experience
Description:
The Sr. Software Developer/Programmers prime focus is to develop internal software applications through the use of Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 and SQL:
The Sr. Software Developer/Programmers position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. Develop software solutions in Microsoft Visual Studio primarily through .Net
2. Maintain source control for all SQL and Visual Studio Applications
3. Direct oversight and daily management of all aspects of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes deployed at the company.
4. Develop and support internally developed third party web services
5. Support other third party software systems in development or deployed for the company
6. Ongoing education to keep all software development tools an SQL tools in the latest version and to train other team members of the IT department of the new features and functionality of the tools.
7. MS SQL server experience including a solid working knowledge of TSQL and familiar with data modeling and normalization
8. Maintain a working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio inclusive of stored procedures, functions, and queries
9. Develop and maintain reports and other knowledge management functions
10. Strong written and verbal skills required inclusive of the ability to effectively and positively communicate with all levels of management and end users
11. 4 years of experience in .Net development Including Windows forms and web services using WCF, Web API, and QData
12. Working knowledge of and/or entry level experience with LINQ and EF
13. Ability to work with minimal supervision/oversight to meet departmental objectives as established by the CIO
14. Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or directed
Requirements:
Degree in a related field or Information Technology training and/or 2 years experience in MS Visual Studio 2013 and SQL environment.
