Instructional Design Coordinator (Training)
Location: Stuart, FL
Description:
The Instructional Design Coordinator develops, re-structures, documents, and organizes the sales departments new hire and existing employee training programs. This position is a co-facilitator in some of the training programs for existing employees.
This position includes but is not limited to the following
Responsibilities:
1. Research, plan, and organize training programs, seminars, and conferences for sales representatives and leadership within the sales operations department.
2. Write material for new training programs; reviews, evaluates, and modifies existing and proposed programs and recommends appropriate changes.
3. Assists with preparing and administering various training programs
4. Administers and evaluates training program qualification tests and determines eligibility of prospective attendees.
5. Prepares and distributes training aids such as a power point presentation/visual aids, facilitator guide, attendee handout, evaluations forms, coaching guide.
6. Contacts attendees and department representatives about training program, sets up audiovisual equipment and co-facilitates presentations when necessary.
7. Schedules the appropriate training facilities and prepares the physical room setup.
8. Other duties and tasks as assigned
Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
2. 2 -5 years experience in training field to include:
a. methods and practices, course development, writing, communications development or other directly related experience
b. working knowledge of training practices and methodology
3. Ability to perform duties with minimal direction
4. Excellent time management skills
5. Moderate to expert computer and communication skills both verbal and written
6. Ability to evaluate, track, and analyze training effectiveness
