5 Quick Apply 2 days ago Full Job Description Company in Stuart, FL is looking for a Director of Facilities to manage and oversee all aspects of our facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Relative to facilities maintenance, this Director organizes, directs staff/contractors, and manages all aspects of preventative and repair maintenance activities for all buildings.
Sets priorities and oversees supervisory team and all trades within the department including:
carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
It is expected that the departmental systems and processes will be re-envisioned and reorganized.
Supervision of Staff & Operational
Responsibilities:
Responsible for directing Facilities Manager and Housekeeping Manager and related employee team in the day-to-day maintenance of all buildings and infrastructure throughout the property.
Assists Facilities Manager and Housekeeping Manager in preparing mid-season and annual employee evaluations for Facilities staff.
Responsible for the installation, function and maintenance of the property's major equipment including and not limited to:
elevators, generators, fire detection and suppression systems, kitchen ansul systems, mounted fire extinguishers, pool filters & pumps, geothermal equipment, backup generators, gas and electric hot water heaters, laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, HVAC systems - drinking water RO systems, water softeners and grease traps.
On a regular basis, inspects all buildings and infrastructure on property.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND/OR
Experience:
College degree desired.
Minimum ten years in similar role and operational complexity.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Trades Certificates, OSHA Training and Valid Driver's License.
